There’s Many Tarot Meanings.

Most novice tarot readers and the public believe there are fixed meanings for each tarot card and only the experts (published tarot writers) know the true meaning of each tarot card. Or that only psychics know what the cards mean. As a certified professional tarot reader, I’m telling you that’s a myth.  I hope to get your fresh perspective on what a tarot card means.  NO experience or understanding of tarot required.

My husband and I own over 400 tarot books and in large part consider them reference manuals, dictionaries, and thesauruses.  Yes, they are valuable and useful books or we wouldn’t own them but they are mostly someone’s personal opinion of what the card means.

We want to help the world appreciate that tarot cards are for the people, by the people and we hope you will want to share your personal opinion too.

How To Reply

  1. Let us know your tarot level.  Is this the first time reading a card? Professional reader?  Tried to read before but couldn’t?  Years studying the tarot? etc..
  2. Before reading our keywords, description, etc.  The most important criteria is that you reply with your own original impressions.
  3. Use the card image in the post for your KEYWORDS and DESCRIPTION and any other tarot meanings you discover while gazing at the card. While any deck can be used to read tarot, it’s useful for everyone to know where your impressions originated.
  4. Please use a correct email address that is often accessed. Your email address will be kept in the strictest confidence and only used to contact you about the possible inclusion of your reply in a published work. If there are any questions about the possible use of your impressions, please contact us privately or reply to this post. Thank you.

Card Prompts

In tarot, there is no right or wrong just difference. If you allow yourself to just write down your impressions without worrying about whether you are right or not you will find impressions to be bang-on.

1.Who, what, why, when, where, and how?
2.What do you see?
3.What sticks out first?
4.There’s a story or allegory in every picture card. What is the story telling you?
5.What is the symbolism of colour and object in the picture?
6.Who are the people in the card? Why are they there? What are they doing?
7.What is the message of the card?
8.Where is the scene taking place?
9.When will it happen?

Describe the card, add some keywords or phrases to your replyLet us know what you think the card means, what it’s all about.  It’s your interpretation of the tarot card meaning and if your interpretation is sincere it will be Accurate, Right, and True.  You can not go wrong!

Other

We intend on publishing a tarot book (doesn’t mean we will!!) which will include keywords and descriptions; however, the bulk of the book will likely be on teaching the finer points of tarot and tarot reading.

We would LOVE your contribution to the Keyword / Description area of the book.  If it’s selected we will credit you, give you a complimentary copy of the book, and compensate you in any other way that works.

If any part of your contribution is selected, we will contact you.  Please make sure your email address is correct and will be valid for an extended period of time.

This website is nurtured by Psychic Jucy, Jasper and YOU!  We are writing a book.  Yup, that includes you.  This blog is for the purpose of collating the collective wisdom of visitors who have not yet read much (if anything at all about tarot), novices, hobbyists, and professionals.

A few times a month (until we are done all 78 cards) we will post a description of each tarot card, keywords, other stuff and invite you to reply in kind. We will help you get started by prompting on how to go about reading a tarot card in the first place.

Yes, YOU have the right to read tarot.  No, you don’t have to be a professional reader or have studied it for years to be able to read the meaning of a tarot card.  Be a part of something really special by adding your own ideas, thoughts, and feelings of what a card might represent.

But no cheating.  Only original content from your brain to ours. :)

And be sure to Subscribe to get alerted to new card posts!
